Catherine the Great restaurant and the chef – cook Nicolai Khvalynskiy represent new Christmas menu of the hotel of the world-known museum. The guests of the Hermitage hotel as well as citizens of Saint-Petersburg and the guests of the city will have the opportunity to taste a special Christmas set during the New Years’ and Christmas holidays.

The Christmas menu is available from the 25th of December till the 11th of January 2015. Price- 2500 rub.
All the guests are offered Christmas Glühwein.
The chef-cook of the State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel’s restaurants Nicolai Khvalynskiy started his professional career in 1996. He has finished a culinary school in Amsterdam: worked on the cruise liner as pastry-cook and pastry chef, in 2006 became the head of the kitchen at the new Russian cruise company Crand Circle, in 2008 took the position of brand-chef. Nicolai underwent training in many culinary schools of Europe. Since 2009 worked as a chef-cook of Courtyard Marriot Saint-Petersburg Vasilievskiy. In 2012 Nicolai took part in the official opening of JW in Baku as a consultant. In 2012 and 2013 he was a participant of the Festival of northern cuisine; ideologist and expert of the gastronomic culture.
Since 2013 – the chef cook of the Catherine the Great and Michelangelo restaurants of the State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel.
